06-02-2011: We are finally back on line. Wind shears and tornado's nocked outy our phone service and electric on May 26th. We were connected back June 1st. Lots of damage to the forests and homes. Slate Run area received a direct hit. I'll post photo's in the gallery section of this site.
Pine has been very high for the last week. It will be under 3 feet today and the clarity is good. Hatch activity has been very light. We hope to see some Drakes in the next couple of days. It appears that the clinging and crawling nymphs took a beating with all of high water. We hope that the burrowers made out better. There seems to be lots of good trout around. Jed caught 4 very nice Browns last night.
