05-15-2011: Saturday did not provide the surface activity that fishermen wanted. The Dark Olive Caddis is coming to an end, but it was an incrediable hatch this year. All of the Caddis hatches have been very strong so far this year. Hopefully the Mayfly hatches will be the same. The March Brown hatch is just getting started. The Yellow Stone fly is under way. Pine dropped to slightly below the 92 nyear average the last couple of days. Showers and thunderstorms predicted this coming week will certainly change that. Pine produced moderate activity Friday and Saturday. |
