Historical Stream Conditions

3-15-2012: Pine is in great early spring conditions. Flowing below the 90 year normal, the water temperature is 44 degrees in the morning, and should touch the upper 40's by this afternoon. A beautiful lt. olive in color, with the perfect clarity for fly fishing. The hatches, at this point, appear to be heavier than normal. Very good early Black and Brown Stone Flies. Tan Caddis and some early season Baetis. We have very few fishermen, and the fishing has been some what slow. These warm days along with the warm nights should get the water in to the 50's very soon. Looks good for this week end.
