Historical Stream Conditions
04-19-2012: Fly fishing was very good all week. Not as heavy as last week, but still very good. The hatches were very strong with a mix of Match brown's and Dark Olive Caddis. The activity took place all day, with the best dry fly fishing during the afternoon. As I mentioned before, They are a full size #10 this year. The season is very advanced, nearly by three to four weeks. The flow rate for Pine is very low for this time of year, but great for fishing. The Brown Trout Club has stocked nearly six thousand dollars worth of Brown Trout. The fish were above average girth and length. The Gray Foxes and Blue Wing Olives are getting started, and a few Slate Drakes are showing up.
